Overview of sessions

Angela firmly believes in the importance of experiencing things for ourselves “in the field”.  She therefore aims to work with you outside in Nature for up to 50% of the time you spend with her, ie you will have a mixture of indoor counselling and outdoor practical sessions.   The usual sequence is as follows:

Preparation

Approximately seven days before your first appointment, you will receive two short forms to complete.    These are designed to simply help you begin reflecting on Nature and you, as well as what you would like to get out of your time with Calm by Nature.  The information provides a useful starting point and basis for your work with Angela.

First and second sessions

Your first session takes place indoors.  Read about a typical first appointment.

Your second session usually takes place outside.   Read about outdoor practical sessions.

Further sessions

These will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor sessions and will be tailored to your particular needs and goals as well as taking into account the evolving creative process of your Calm by Nature work.    

How many sessions?

Positive changes can be felt after only two sessions but, for maximum benefit,  Angela recommends  four to six 1½hr sessions initially with one or two review sessions down the track.
