Outdoor Sessions (practical)
Following your initial (indoor) session, your second 1½ hr session usually takes place outside, because the ideal sequence is to alternate between indoor and outdoor sessions.
Where?
Outdoor sessions take place at mutually agreed locations in Sydney.
It’s preferable to pick a place that you like or you feel drawn to, a place which is also safe, convenient and easily accessible for you. That way you’re more likely to have enjoyable, meaningful experiences during the session(s) and feel attracted to go there regularly once our work is completed.
Many people have a favourite Nature spot or walk near a beach, in a park or garden, on a hill, by a river, lake or harbour, or even just a favourite tree. If you can’t think of anywhere suitable, Angela can help you to select an appropriate place.
Further outdoor sessions may take place at different locations to allow for varied experiences.
Why and how?

Outdoor sessions are an invitation to ‘ let Nature come to us’ and work will be particularly with the senses as it is through these that we connect with Nature.

Being outdoors brings an opportunity to slow down, which allows us to not only relax and notice our surroundings more but also to gently observe ourselves and how we are in the world.

There will be chances to talk about and reflect upon your experiences during the sessions and what they mean for you.

Nature is a wise teacher. If we just take a few minutes to pay attention, we can learn a lot about ourselves and life.

It can also be a mirror to us and during sessions you will explore using metaphors as a tool for insight. Read blog article.
Further outdoor sessions will expand on the above and also incorporate new exercises, depending upon your individual preferences, goals and needs.
