A love of Nature and a chance encounter with a book on Nature-Guided Therapy during her training led Angela to base her Graduate Diploma research on counselling using Nature as a resource.
Angela runs Calm by Nature, a short-term counselling service. She supports adult clients in exploring how to use Nature as a resource to help reduce stress, make positive changes, meet life’s challenges and understand themselves better.

Philosophy
Angela believes passionately in the benefits of Nature connection and that there are numerous simple, brief, practical and fun ways we can include Nature in our everyday lives at home, work, even in the car or on public transport.
She enjoys providing a flexible space for her clients’ self-discovery to happen in its own way.
At the same time she facilitates clients to bring into their practical world whatever insights, ideas and impulses for change emerge from that creative process.
Inspiration
Angela is inspired by the work of, among many others, Carl Rogers, George W. Burns, Bill Plotkin, Julia Cameron, the Findhorn Foundation, Ian White, Brandon Bays and Richard Louv.
